help with odyssea pc mounting legs

I just received my oddysea pc light fixture last night, and as I am trying to set it up I do not see any way I can use the mounting legs that came with the fixture (the ones with the 2 plastic screws) with my glass top.
Anyone owning one of these fixtures have any suggestions? I dont think it's possible to just lay the fixture on top of the glass top, it does have a splash guard, but I don't know if it will cause a heat issue. (192 watts on a 46 bow front).
thanks

Look closely at your light you will see a grove. That is where you slide the mounting legs on at. You have to keep messing with it it is kind of a witch with a capital B it you know what I mean. That is what we get for buying oddysea not coralife.

thanks andy, i figured out that part, my question is how to mount the legs onto the tank, the glass top prevents the legs from mounting to the tank frame, even when i pull the top back they dont seem to grab well, and I do not want to go without a glass top (kids)

Yeah they work real swell. You'll have to get a glass cutter to notch out a spot for the legs, Lol. They are piles of junk. I was ripped, too. My on off switches don't work on them either. At least they are stuck on so I can use a timer.

oh by the way, anyone have any thoughts on just placing the fixture directly on the glass top like a strip light, i know coral life is selling the pc's as strip lights now with now mounting legs.

I had the same prob.. i bought the light used and the screw mounting legs didn't work with a glass top aquarium and even without the glass top didn't sit right on the tank..
Right now i'm using 4 kids cups to hold up my tank..

i was told this was a coralife light when i bought it used.. i'm not happy needless to say i found out from them its a odessa..

I was told these would work.
