Hi,
I have a 75 gallon tank with 60lbs of LR about 1.5 inches of sand.
I am running a sump and I have a skimmer.
My rock has been in for 4 weeks. and I have 3 fish and a cleaner crew. I am thinking I may need some powerheads, but my LFS is giving me the run around.
I know i need between 10 to 20 % turnover rate. But what brand should I get and all the models numbers through me for a loop when the they don't have gallon per hour listed.
So
What Brand?
How many?
How many GPH each?
Where to place them?
Oscolating or stationary?
Wavemaker or not?
Thanks for your help.

get maxijets very good i have a 55 with two 900's 230gh and that is plenty plus my filters and skimmer combined i am turning my water over about 15x an hour one is angled slightly up onthe right hitting the surface and one is on the left down 3/4 of the way aiming straight behind the live rock getting rid of dead space go by the formula 10x water turnover in a hour you need 750 gph add your filters and powerheads and try to get that number or greater the maxi 900's use a lot less power and are less noisy got mine real cheap if you want the sight email at moto757@comcast.net
