I bought this for my 65 gallon tank after I returned ocean clown after reading the bad reviews. The instructions are a little sparse for me and their website, same thing. It seems to me the pump will fall off the tubing. There is no O ring to hold it in place....Does anyone have a pic of it's set up and with better instructions?

I tested this unit just now in my basement in a square tub. I just received this the other day.....It seems to me that the water will not go up into the collection tube at the bottom of the collection box. The bubbles just stop short of it or so. The collection box is at it's lowest point. Is this normal?

Only when the water doesn't have any dissolved organic waste. Try putting some skimmate in the water tub and see if it doesn't just find it's way into the collection cup. If it doesn't, you have a problem.

Ok.....I have turned on my skimmer to get it broken in....There is NO FOAM at all. I am just using fresh water for the break in. I put a little flake food on the surface and the skimmer barely does anything....

There is your problem. Add salt and you will have foam.
BTW, add a few cups of vinegar to your water before you try adding salt. The vinegar helps remove the oils on the plastics. Run for 24 hours. Then drain that water and make a batch of saltwater. Even better is to do a water change and use water from your tank to break it in.

+1, freshwater will produce very little if any foam, mostly just large bubbles.

The skimmer now is pushing bubbles almost to the top of the tube in the collection box. It did take a lot of gunk out. This was AFTER I added the vinegar.
