The very first thing is to make sure that it is very stable…in a rock slide you may lose critters and or break the tank.
Twist each piece of rock until it doesn’t move…it will kind of “lock” into place.
I like that you got some nice ledges..just make sure they won’t fall. From the pictures it looks a little unstable, but pictures can be hard to judge…wiggle things a tiny bit to see if it will give, but be careful…I don’t want you to break the tank testing the structure.

It doesn't appear that the base pieces are all the way down on the bottom glass. Looks more like the sand went in first, then the rock on top of the sand. If this is the case, and you ever get a goby, he will move that sand that's beneath the rock, and then....collapse. But your idea of the caves and ledges looks good...

+1 Rock 1st then sand.

what i did was put my LR in a bucket...took a piece...and shut my eyes and randomly placed it against the back wall of the tank. it ended up looking alright as far as natural reef goes. the only cons are that my rock is up against the glass which makes cleaning algae a pain. but i kept every piece 1" away from the wall at the bottom so gunk dosent build up. my rock is very stable.
like flower said i moved the rock around until it locked into place.
here is what my end result was...its not the best looking..but it worked for me as reeflike enough

i heard its bad to lean rock against the tank, causing the back of the tnak glass to break, i have a 125 wit 130 lbs of liverock, i took the 4 heaviest rocks and out them in the middle, and from there i built on
frm your pictures it looks like u did that, but the rock u have on the top looks very weak and not strong, i dont think u can place anythin on top of them

yeah the top ones are a little weak...but im gonna use epoxy putty to glue them so i can add on more later. never thought of the glass breaking though...

Unless you use a ton of it..epoxy won’t work…You have to work at it but you can use your ledges.
Here is a picture of my tank without the corals…look at the rocks and ledges..it is really stable I could maybe even stand on it and it wouldn’t move.

nice tank flower, is that a fake coral on the left side? its tan colored? if its fake i would highly recomend to remove it, the fake corals dnt wrk to well in saltwater tanks
when i started this hobby i didnt want to really put anythin into the tank that i thought would harm fish or anythin, meaning epoxys. i stay away from any of that glue n stuff, i dnt no y i jus refuse to put it

As with anything you put in a tank, it will seed and be just like the rock we use. It is a saltwater safe piece, I paid $50.00 for it. I use the fake piece for stability. It can’t even be seen now. That is an old picture…I used it to just show how to get those ledges and yet have it stable.
Here is what my tank looks like now…

i really like your rockwork and it does look real stable. hmmm since epoxy putty wont work that well i might just have to rearrange the rock as i get new pieces. but enough of me hijacking this thread...carlos, i think you should definitely use flowers and rcdudes examples of their rockwork cause it is real nice and i wouldnt chance it arranging it like mine if theres a possibility of it cracking the tank.
