Help With Situating My Nozzles Please

I've got a new 125 gal. long (72") which I'm about to start plumbing to my new 55 gal. fuge. I'm running split 1" returns from a Mag 24 against approx. 5.5' of head. Any advice / opinions on where to locate or point the nozzles (well I don't really have "nozzles" per se but rather the terminus of my run) or whether I should even get nozzles at all will be greatly appreciated.
Also, how far should my overflow lines extend below the water surfaces of my fuge and skimmer boxes?:notsure: They are both also 1" and will extend through sock holders and can accomodate a 1400 gph flow combined.

I would have them at oppsoite corners in against the back wall of the tank. You can use PVC to plumb them and connect them to lockline so they will be adjustable.

Hmmm. :thinking: Being a noob and all I was unfamiliar with loc-line till you mentioned it; I looked it up and it looks like a good system. Thanks for turning me on to it.

Please allow me to pick your brain a little further. I had originally planned to situate my returns equidistant @ 1/3 & 2/3 the tank length w/overflows in the corners, what advantages are gained by placing the returns in the corner and where would you suggest locating my (two) overflows? Also, should the loc-line be plumbed above the waterline projecting into it (and if so where do you drill the vacuum break) or do you plumb it from a submerged el' (or other fitting)? One more thing, do I have to buy that special tool to snap the loc-lines together?
