Help With Snowflake Eel

Hi I have had a snowflake eel for a few years it is about 24 inches. I have stick fed him krill since I have had him and he would attack the krill. For the last couple of months he seems to have trouble swallowing the krill (almost like he is choking). He'll take one krill and have it in his mouth for 5 minutes and not eat anymore. Any ideas as to what might be wrong with him?

Don't really know what is wrong. Try feeding some smaller pieces. Also, mix up the diet - silversides, clams, shrimp, etc. will all be greedily accepted by most snowflake eels. Bo

is the eel in a tank with any other fish? are there any fish/inverts that it way have eaten that may have caused harm to his mouth or throat?

the sfe we had awhile ago would do the same thing if he did not want to eat what I was feeding him. I would try something else and he would eat it. Mix up his diet, like was posted before and see what happens.
