help with tankmates

i have a 92gallon corner 100lbs of live rock. I want a volitan lionfish and a snowflake ele. what else could i put in with them that would do good. i'm wanting a puffer. and large marron clown

a puffer will most likely nip at the lionfish they always do. the clown is good. just try to find a fish that wont mess with the lion. triggers will also pick on the lion.

not very good chances plus a stars and stripes gets HUGE
At a nextell phone dealer had a stars and stripes puffer that was at least 2.5 FEET long and aparently weighed over 40 pounds this thing was Fat

I think you have much better odds with keeping a puffer with a lion than you do a trigger with a lion.
The volitan and/or puffer in a 92 with other huge, waste producers is a separate issue, however.

Would you consider a dwarf lion of some sort for your tank?
When looking at a Volitan, keep in mind, they will reach 12 - 15 inches in about 18 months, very fast growers, and are very messy fish. You will be amazed at how fast they outgrow their tank-mates, yes, many tank-mates become meals, considering they can eat 1/2 their body size.

i have had a dwarf lion"fu man chu" and he was not active at all. very boring. and hiding all day long and my volitan very active.
