Help with top off system?

I have 4 tanks, a 140, 55, 30l and an 18. I am tired of running to the store for top off water and salt for water changes. I want a good filter system that I can hook to my 140 that will have a float for it. I also want it to have a valve to fill a gallon jug to top off other tanks and mix my own salt. Anyone have suggestions for GOOD setup?? Thanks

With that many tanks you should have invested in an RO/DI unit long ago.....You can use the float valve method you suggested in conjunction with the Ro/DI but depending on situations it has happened that the valves get stuck open due to Calcium and your system is flooded with fresh water and salinity takes a wild swing, but yes it can be done....
