HELP! Wrasse with huge lump

I just noticed that my wrasse (I forget what kind he is, begins with an "M") has a huge lump on his right side, just about half way down his body. It's not a little bump, like a bug or something under his skin, it's a huge lump. He can't bend his body in that direction very well and the scales are kind of standing up. He still wants to eat and his color is good.
Any ideas out there????

Well, no one seemed to be able to help out with a possible diagnosis, so I'll tell you what happened to him.........this huge lump, which made him bent and crooked, just went away!!! What the heck!! I kept expecting 10 million alien things to come spewing out one day, and now it's gone. Do you think they left in their spaceship??
