I just purchesed a few green chromis's and one of them looks like something took a bite out of the side of him. he swims normal and has no sings of other problems...sorry i dont have pix but is there a fast way to heal this?

A product such as Pro Tech Coat Marine can help to regenerate the protective slime layer and allow this to heal itself.
Keep an eye on the wound. If is gets infected, Maracyn 2 would be a good choice.
