Help!

My tank has been set up for a little over a month. it's a 75 gallon. There is about 50 lbs of LR, with crushed coral. I am starting to get some sort of brown algae growth, all over the LR, and in the CC a well. It is almost the color of rust. What is it, and what can I do about it?

Add another 50 pounds of LR and increase your water flow. By the way, where in Philly are you? I'm in the Northeast.

No expert, but I believe you're experiencing a "diatome bloom", a sudden outburst of diatomes (Going through it myself right now). I also understand that it's pretty common with new tanks and should alleviate itself to some degree.
That all said, Train's comment about flow is important to keeping agleas under control.
