HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when i got home tonight i seen that my very first
ANEMONE(HATIAN CONDI)was hanging out of my power
head, all i could see was one of the tenacles,i
shut the power head off, looked inside and their
was nothin left,so the power head probably
tore it up,and shot it through out the tank(55
gallons). What concerns me is that when i bought
this they said if he dies get it out, cause this
is worse than dead fish,in the tank.Is this right
if so what do i do?

Remove any pieces of the dead animal if you can.
Remove and clean powerhead.
Clean filter media.
Partial water change 20-25%
Add some activated carbon in area of high water flow.
Add a Poly Filter is you can.
Provide good water circulation.
Watch other tank inhabitants for stress.
Test for ammonia.
That is so unfortunate to happen :(

We had the same thing happen when we first got our tank. We had a little brown bubble tip anemonie, when we came home he was stuck to our intake,we had to take the intake out of the water in order to get it off it was stuck good. but in order not to poison the water we took it out and then washed it. We now have two medium anemonies and haven't had a problem. :)
