umm just a question.... is it normal for my cleaner shrimp to climb ontop of my fish and clean their gills?!?!?!
i donno cuz it looks kinda weird

Yes, that is why they are called cleaner shrimp. They pick parasites and old tissue off of fish. Some fish let them do it, others don't.

Welcome to the forum. Yes that is what they do. Interesting little creatures. In time you may even find they try to give you a manicure when you put your hand in the tank.

Consider yourself lucky, although thats what they are supposed to do not all cleaners actually do it. Im not sure why but its a lot like tank raised ocellaris, they tend not to host anything. A lot of cleaner shrimp that are bought and sold are tank raised. Maybe thats why....

Yeah, it's natural and like the other said, it's a good thing. I just had one tonight clean my arm while I was moving some coral frags around in the DT.
