Would like to hook light up to timer. don't have clue on how long for each. I have 12,000 daylight bulb,

actinic bulb and moon light bulb. Fish I have are some black and white percs, rusty angel, and some inverts

Heres just a suggestion:
Actinic-9:30am-9:30pm
Daylight Bulb-11am-7pm
Moonlight-9:30pm-9:30am

Thanks for the tips on the light. Thought maybe I would ask you another question since you were the only one that responded before.
Is it normal for the fish to be scared now when I walk up to the tank to feed them, (because of the different light) they seem to run and hide.

They are probably just getting used to the light. Give them time to acclimate to it.

They will soon enough learn that you are there and it's feeding time. You will eventually become very popular as you approach your tank

Sometimes I just want to get a closeup look at my tank and I find myself talking to them and say "hey, I fed you guys already. You are not getting any more"
