i was just looking at my fish tank and there is some kind of worm that is very skinny and is about 3/4 inch long and is whiteish tan what is it? bad or good?

could be a peanut worm.

If it looks like a centipede (flat w/little fuzzy legs all around) it is a coral eater type of bristle worm...they grow huge.
