can somebody please help me find out what kind of algae this growing? It looks like green coralline algae growing. It also grows on the glass just like coralline does. But why is it green? If it's not green coralline, what is it? Your help would be much appreciated.

Is it hard like coralline or is it slimy to the touch?

It's probably just green coralline. The reason it is green could be the nutrients in the system, that was the color of coralline that was introduced into your system, the lighting and a whole slew of other reasons. I wouldn't be concerned. Some people have reported that their coralline started green then turned purple.

there is green, red, and purple coralline.... not all is purple... its fine and actually a good sign!
