My fish keep dying. I have lost every fish that I have put into my 58 except a damsel and a clown. The story usually goes that the fish looks normal and suddenly its lying on the bottom. Occassionally there is something a little different with each case, but for the most part the fish look normal the previous day.
This morning I woke up to see my kole tang lying on his side breathing hard and kinda floating bottom up. I immediately moved him to a 5G tank with some of my main tanks water. He was dead 5 minutes later. Yesterday he was nibbing at the rocks for food. I had noticed a white spot under one of his fins for some time and was unable to figure out what it was. My LFS told me to just watch him. I had been watching him closely for any signs of change. He appeared to be nibbling at rocks fine and occassionaly picking at other things that were fed in the tank. Although his appetite could have been diminished yesterday. I did take a picture so that maybe someone could identify something that could be causing this problem with my fish tank. I didn't check the water yesterday but it has been testing ph8.2, ammonia/Nitrite/nitrate 0,0,0 and SG 1.025. Can anyone suggest what might be causing my problems. I recently added a UV to see if that might help kill whatever might be causing my problems....oh well.
Please help
TIA
