well i did a water change yesterday i didnt even take at that much water i think it was around 5 gallons i did it cause my yellow tang has this brown stuff on it side and looks to have this white stuff on its body so i hope the water change well help it but when i did the change i left my apt and when i came back my water was all cloudy i was thinking maybe it needed more time but when i woke up this morning it was still cloudy well two of my lions died this morning my tang is doing good still swiming aroung my my i test the water too make sure and everthing is fine ...this is not my first time doing a water change the last time it work out perfect that same day just want to know if this is normal and also want to know whats on my yellow tang? and what does fresh water dips do to the fish i dont know if this the right form to post but if not i am sorry but i hope to hear this is normal thanks for reading o my tank is a 55 g

Please post your water parameters, and we'll see what we can figure out. Salinity, Ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, ph, etc...

hey dallas, try to post this in the disease and treatment forum. the brown stuff on your tang sounds like some kind of disease. the white stuff is ich, but probably from the disease, not the water change. they got some good people who can help over there. good luck.. <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" />
