1. bought a green bta
2. after 1 month it split
3. now the bta's live above each other, separated by rock
4. next, bought 2 black and white percula's; same size
5. both clowns were unaware for the first week that there
were two anemone's in the tank
6. during this time the clown "liked" each other
7. one day while dropping a piece of food into the anemone,
the "first" clown took notice of this and pulled the food
out of the anemone
8. since then, this clown and taken fancy to the anemone and
will not let the other clown enjoy the anemone.
9. now she has moved into both anemone's and will not let
her the other clown come near either of the anemone's
Is this normal behavior?

since both clowns are young and the same size, does this behavior indicate that the clown hosting both anemone's will be the female?

the dominate will become the female, however its usually the male that will stay at home and do all that good stuff, beautiful clowns!

Thanks for the info Bronco300. I always thought that the clown that was taking care of the anemone was the female. So it's the male that does that?
