Hermit Crab Problem

Hey guys, I have a hermit crab problem. The problem that i am experiencing is my hermits love killing and eating my snails. I've added empty shells for the crabs to move into because i figured it was because of the lack of empty shells for them to grow and move into. Apparently, that wasn't enough because they are still killing and eating my snails. I drop sinking pellets almost every day for them to consume and that doesn't seem to be stopping them either. So my question is does anyone know how i can stop this? I'm sick of having to buy new snails every few weeks. Thanks guys.

what type of hermits? if they are not blue leg or red leg crabs, they may just be predatory crabs with nothing you'll be able to do about it other than removing them

this is why i dont recommend hermits to anyone adding a CUC. they will start canabalising eachother soon. get them out and go snails only or stop buying snails and use a star, urchin, or some other invert.

+1
I have had hermits for years, and as long as they have shells there is no problem.
