Hermit Crab Shells

I need help find some hermit crab shells. We have several hermits in our tank that are quickly growing our of their shelfs. I often go into the local pet shop looking for larger ones but never find them. I even ordered some empty shells from saltwaterfish.com, but again they were too small. Does anyone know where I can get large empty shells for my growing hermit crabs???

Local craft outlets (Michaels, A C Moore) usually sell them by the bag. Assorted sizes and cheap. Rinse them off well and drop them in.

Actually, as with any shell purchase, make sure that they don't have any chemicals on them (paint, varnish, etc.) and always boil them for 15 minutes before putting them in your tank. This helps to kill off any diseases, etc. that might hitchhike on the shells. This is recommended with the purchase of shells from this web site!
