hermit crab with no legs

I have a blue leg hermit crab. He just went through a molt but I have noticed that he has his two claws but no legs. Will these grow or will he die? Is this normal?
I don't know if my fuzzy dwarf lionfish got ahold of him. I have never seen this but I have seen pieces of his blue leggs over the tank. But this might have been from the molt too.

A hermit w/ not legs huh???
Never seen that...are you sure he has no legs at all?? Maybe hes got em tucked in his shell...but if hes still crawlin around i would say hes got a good chance of survival~!

No legs, but he still crawls around and is on the rock as we speak. I had to dig him out from under a part of my barnacle but he manages to get around. Will his legs grow?

He'll likely grow them back by the next molt; at least that's what happened to mine. He lost 3 legs on one side & now that he's molted again those 3 grew back but were a bit smaller.
