Do hermits often clean feather duster tubes or does this mean it smells a dead worm? The hermit was doing this repetetive (back and forth) digging action against the tube of the worm. It's a blueleg hermit and a fully grown featherduster. I haven't seen the worm's crown or head in two days. It was squiming way out of the end of the tube right before that. I looked around the back of the tank in case it crawled all the way out, but no sign. One time I could see it squirming through the transluscent brown part of the tube, but I can't see anything moving right now. It just half-way grew it's crown back in 8 days, so I thought it was doing real good up until now.
