can all hermit crabs live both in and out of water, I saw some hermits on a beach walking around the sand, can i put these in my tank? They have orange legs and one big claw that is purple or blue.
Some beach hermits(and other crabs) require time out of water and will die otherwise. But I don't know about the one your speaking of.
Some are even land hermits that only spend short times in water and will drowned if lft under water to long.
