Hexagon tank for a reef

Is a 45 gal hex tank ok for a reef and some smaller fish, or should i shy away from that shape tank?

Just looking for some opinions, or experiences with this type of tank, I was thinking they look kinda cool.

All tanks work. One bonus is you only need a single light over that tank. One drawback is you will have to be a little more creative with your powerhead placement to hit everything just right. Im doing a 180g octogan frag tank this summer. The tank I picked up is 4 feet across and about 28 inches tall. Im doing a single plasma light over the middle, its going to be sweet!
