i just got a 20 gal nano that just started cycling yesterday and i want to uprade my 2 50/50 49 watt hood to a metal halide system...i wanted to ask you waht can u help me with......thanks

I'd go with one of those HQI 70watt MH pendants! but you wil have to take off your canopy which means water evap like crazy on that small 20gal. I actually did a mod on my 24gal nano by puting a HQI 150watt into the hood of the JBJ canopy. Watch out for heat issues.

i have a glass top will i have to take it off if i go with the pendent

Agreed.. not to mention the possibility of bad O2 exchange causing all kinds of problems involving PH, Alk, Ca, heat, Algae all down the road
