hey chef jaysen!
i was just wondering if u would be able to take a picture of your whole tank because it sounds like we share the same kind of tank... a 42g hex. I would just like to get sum ideas thx alot

As far as outside appeal, I built a hood for it and then changed the lights to pc and it didnt fit anymore. So I am lazy. The timer I also should put on the inside but again the lazyness thing gets in the way. And to top it all off I am buying a brand new house, that at this point has a wall that is going to be cut to fit my new 220 gal reef. I am so excited I cant wait..........I think I am going to turn this one into a seahorse tank with a mated pair of perculas in there. Cheers............

Haha ......heres a pic of the tank probably a month into it. No corals 20 lbs of live rock. Hundreds of dollars less. Man the good old days...........

wow, nice tank. i like the black sand, and how the rocks like strech around the whole inside of the glass. u can only do that with a hex
