So the dork in me, is happy I've been watching Star Gate on hulu?

I think I've finally watched all the SG1 episodes enough now that I can steer clear for a while.
 
I'm not much of a TV series type, but my Friday nights were exclusively BG when it was on. Awesome series, ending sucked.
 
I see on syfy.com forums that Caprica returns in January. I do not understand what Syfy channel is thinking sometimes....all I can say is that with this long an intermission, the next installment's script better be bangin!

My wife and I loved the SG1 series. I also really liked Farscape, Stargate Atlantis and Firefly. And of course I watched all the Star Treks with Voyager probably being my favorite.
 
I actually watched the first two episodes of SGU last night. It appears that SGU is going to be like Star Trek Voyager but I will give it a chance.
 
Yeah I didn't care so much for the BG ending either. I have not started watching Caprica but I will get around to it eventually.

Firefly was probably the best modern Sci-Fi show on TV. Really too bad it got canned.

Firefly was a great show. At least they did the right think in making a movei (Serenity) to help wrap it up for the fans. I thought the movie was really good also.

That only took a week. Well firefly is in a league of its own. I found the whole series half season on sale at blockbuster for 5 bucks a few months back.
 
I've never actually watched SG1 before (Except what I'd catch randomly on fox on saturday mornings) as I never had showtime. I'm getting to season 6 now. And well, I think it is loosing some steam. You can tell their budget got cut...

Thats a great deal! I didnt see it when it was on originally. Ended up getting it on iTunes and watched it on my iPod while on my lunch break at work over the course of a few weeks.

There was one season of SG1 (it could have been season 6) that was really bad. There was just no story development and overall the shows were bad. After that one bad season, I thought it started to pick up again but it was never anything like the first 5 years.
