ok i have a job i do at the neighbors they have 150 gallon saltwater tank with an ANCIENT filter system and a newer bio wheel filter they have about 90 pounds of liverock 2 yellow tangs a lionfish and humu humu trigger a clown triger and an emperor angel and about 3 inches of sand on the bottom i clean this tank for them and it stays filthy i mean the water is clear and everything but alage and dirt settle right back down on the sand as soon as i get done vacuming it it stays dirty and i dont know how to keep it clean for them i have never had a problem with my 120 gallon and it stays spotless - its fruterating becuse they think i dont know how to take care of one and i do and im very good at it! so if u guys could give me some reasons why this tank stays dirty i whould appericate it :help:

Let me take a guess? It is probably because there is not a clean up crew present and he has a lot of messy eaters in that tank and they aren't cleanup crew safe!
Good luck! :happyfish

that would be my first guess...
second is taht they dont have enough water flow so that everything settles on the bottom before it can be sucked up by the filter

We would really need to know more specifics (eg more description on filtration, skimmer, feeding, specific water quality parameters, maintenance - water changes how often, how much, with tap or RO water, etc).
