i ordered 2 hagen powerheads(402)--up tp 270 gph--they only sent one--other is backordered--oh well my luck--my question is,i have a 46 gallon bow front tank with about 25 lbs of live rock so far--where do i place the powerhead--up top or down low??do i need the filter on the head or leave it off--is this thing fully submersible or not--any help from anyone appreciated,i just said mr tang because he gave me the place to order from--thnks guys

being as you only have one right now, i ould place it closer to the bottom, and use no filter, all you want it to do is move the water, i am pretty sure that they all have grates(hagen aquaclears) ovet the hole in the bottom, if not use that but no filter
and yes they are fully submersible
