most fizzel out over water, lol Harvey is over mexico now and only a tropical storm. I am sure there will more before november gets here. haha. I just dont like it when they are headed to Fla. My husband is a first responder, so he has leave and go where the storm hits.

LOL yeah, it looks like it's tracking a little farther east now. Wave Off! Wave Off!!
I'm going to get some topoff and salt water today. Already have my battery operated aerator....that thing is an absolute necessity in SoFla.

Looks like the storm will be heading a bit towards me. We are expecting tropical storm downpours and high winds (it's not going to be a direct hit or anything, but still pretty close). My concern is that we have been getting pounded with rain lately (13 inches for the month of August alone) and to add more rain and high winds, I could be in for some trouble. I guess now is a good time to look at my emergency kit and get things in order for my tank in case there is a power outage.

Yup. Now would be the right time. Batteries, water (for you and the fish), air pumps, and possibly freeze some saltwater bags if it's really hot up there for you. And of course....be safe!!!

I have to laugh at this, since the storm is going to be a direct hit. I have everything in order (thanks to everyone here).
