Please tell me whats wrong with my serpent star. he has a hole in his body that has white around the edges. i had noticed this past week he has been acting funny(funny wierd not funny haha) what is going on and what to do?

It sounds like body rot...(not sure if that's the medical term for it) My pink brittle had that issue when I first received it from a friend with the tank....the water parameters were horrible. You probably need to check your water....nitrates can be a big factor....invertabrates are very sensitive to any changes in the tank.
