you told me my cowfish has lymphcystis(spelling?). you said to raise the quality of the water. the water quality in my hospital tank isn't exactly the greatest. should i just move him back into my main tank and let the water in there heal him? or should i try to treat him in my qt?

hey went straight into my qt. so he was never in my main display. i noticed tonight that he wasn't doing so great so i checked the water params and there were some nitrites. so i did a quick 5 gallon water change and started to add salt. i think the mini cycle happened because my uncle was over for the week and was feeding him a lot more than i used to, so thats just my guess. so im going to raise the salinity up to a normal level and add some live rock to the tank to help make the environment better. now here is my big question. my uncle put in some copper to help him(he thought the lymphowhatever was ick). i did a few water changes since so is it ok to put rock in?

No - I wouldn't add rock (or any invert) to a tank that has had ANY copper in it. Possible the rock could absorb the copper and then it would pollute any tank it was ever placed in.
I had to jump on this string --- I used to live on Long Island until I move to WA about 2 years ago. Hi neighbors;)

I live in Washington State now, but I grew up on the N. Shore --- sea cliff, Glen Cove, Port Washington...
