Just wanted to say hi. Been reading the posts and love the info I am getting..
I am Cycling a 45 gal tank for the 1st time in ten years. I Used to work with bigger tanks with my father (150/250 gal).. Moved Got married, and seems my wife would like a nice reef. So I converted our FW setup to salt. Been awhile since I have, and seems thier are alot of new toys out there.. Looks a bit easeir to keep the coral healthy.
So I look forward to chatting with you. I am sure some of this new tech will need some questions asked :)..

Welcome to the board!
You're right about some of the new toys that make it easier to keep corals. I kept SW tanks up through the early-90's and got back into the hobby about 4 or 5 years ago. The advances in lighting, skimmers, water purification, and especially the ideas on natural filtration have made this hobby easier and much more enjoyable for me.
