Hi! I am new here and was wondering what reef safe fish you would reccommend for a 55gal? I am putting my clarks clown, blue damsel(who happens to be a peaceful lil guy despite what species he is), a bicolor blennie, and a cherub angel fish in it and I am wondering what else I could put in it? Wait now that I think about it I think ill get a 72 gallon. What species of tang could be kept in there?

A nice fairy wrasse would look nice.
A pair of firefish would be cool.
A little school of cardinals would be interesting.
A candy hogfish would be different/unique.

Well since I am getting a 72 gal possibly instead of a 55 I would like a cool tang. What tang would work in there? Would a hippo tang or an achilles tang work?

Achilles are not hardy whatsoever, and a hippo will not work in either the 55 or 72. The only tang you could really do in that size tank is a kole, and even then, I would not do it unless you have 100+ lbs. of live rock.

Ok so not even a yellow tang will work? If not Ill just get a 55 and put 1 fairy wrasse of some kind as the biggest fish and maybe some others like a pair of occellaris clowns and a pair of fire fish but not helfrichi because although amazing looking fish I would rather not spend almost $300 on each of them. Also what is a hogfish? Never seen or heard much about them. I like Dwarf angels would 1 of them work as well?

The clowns or angel will not work since you already have one of each of them. The tang will not work because both tangs are much too small.
With that said, a pair of purple firefish and a candy hog would look awesome in there. I posted a pic of the candy hog above. It is the last pic of the first post.
PS - I was just kidding about the pair of helfrichi's. I just thought that that pic I stumbled on was very cool.

If I got a pair of firefish , 1 more clarks clown (this was reccommended to me), a candy hogfish, and a fairy wrasse would this be good for a 55g?

It may be pushing the limits a bit. Your current clown will probably not accept a new clown (same species or not) and the hog and wrasse may clash since they are a little closely related.
