Hiding anemone

I am very worried about my BTA. I got it last week from SWF.com and he was out under the light for a couple of days. It looks like that he’s doing fine but in the last two days he’s inside a cave and I don’t think he’s getting enough light. I might say he’s not getting any light at all. What should I do? Get it out of there? Please help.

I bougth a bta too from a LFS. I had it one day and it was awesome. My maroon clown hosted right away. But the next day I could not find it to save my life. I only have a 29 gallon, so it could not have gone far. I have a huge bristleworm that I have seen only once, so I assumed the worm ate it or something. Anyway I finally located it. It was completely in a small hole about the size of a quarter. I left it there, because I figured it got there, so it can get out by itself. A few days later, it came out and it is doing great. i have had it for almost a month. Just give it time, it will come out when it feels like it.

Normal behavior for BTA in a new system, give it time. If it doesn't move for 3 days then you may need to rearrange things. He is just acclimating himself to new soundings.
