I am considering adding a fuge to a 75 gallon tank dsb 75lbs live rock. I have not taken great care of this tank in the past as I have to carry water up and down a set of steps. I would like to pipe the tank to my basement, but I will have about 17 feet of lift to contend with.
My questions are
1. what flow is gonna be required to operate this size tank (gph?)
2. what pump will operate at that flow rate at that head.
3. how big of an overflow box am I going to need ( I currently have 1 siphon tube about 1")
I am sure if I can get this fuge in my unfinished basement (heated) near my ro unit, floor drain and mess making area that I will enjoy messing with it much more.
