I'm having a hell of a time trying to git good shots of my tank. I've tried them with the actinics on and off, with the 50/50's on and off. My pics still look a little fuzzy, anyone know what I can do? I'm using a polaroid Digitial(About a $300 camara.)
Take a look at www.tattooedlife.homestead.com/ReefTank.html

The best advice for digital cameras in particular, and for any camera in general, is to use a good, solid tripod to steady the camera.
Your pictures on your site look pretty good except for the motion blur of the fish, unfortunately I don't think that can be helped much with a digital, unless you buy one that has the equivilant of a very fast shutter speed ($$$$$). A regular (film) camera with very fast film would probably help the most.
I had I terrible time trying to get a shot of my Dominoe Damsel (R.I.P.) because he was such a hyper guy. Out of about 100 shots, I only got a couple that were only slightly blurred at best. My Clowns, on the other hand, will practically pose for a shot!

I have a digital camera as well and my pics seem to come out alright

What I did was get pretty far back and then used the zoom to get a tight shot. Any autofocus feature you have (on any camera for that matter) gets confused when taking a close up picture threw glass. Good luck, and the tank looks way cool

using a faster film speed would also help ..... I use a 35mm with a 600 speed film and it would come out fine....
