Hippo tang hiding

I have had a blue hippo for many years now. It is about 6" inches. It would always be out swimming and was a very good eater. Last week we had a few power blinks and lights, equipment had been suddenly going off and on. Hippo seemed to be freaked out and since has not come out of rocks when anyone is in the room. I have a survailance camera pointed to tank and I can see hippo swimming around when no one is around. I am afraid it is not eating because it doesn't come out when I feed.
Anyone ever experiance ? This was a very active fish. Thanks .

Tangs especaly hippos are scared easaly and just because it isnt eating hwen you feed does not mean it does not eat it picks at rocks and will find the food around the tank but i agree it shouldnt be scared so much beacause of faulting lights.
