Hippo tang stuck in skimmer section of sump!

I just got a juv blue tang and it got sucked down into the skimmer section of my sump/refugium. Any suggestions! I have been feeding him in there are he sees lively. Should i just see if he swims over the baffles and into the refugium, because i have no space to pull the skimmer out or a small enough net and he hids everytime i come close. It does not look good, but any suggestions?

I found my rabbit fish in my overflow compartment after a month or month and a half.
I assumed he just disappeared like my socks do. Do what you can to get him, with as little stress as possible. if he can swim into the refugium, then block off the other hiding areas with sponges or something, and "encourage " him to swim in the direction you want.

Yea, I agree, do what you have too to get it out and back in the main tank...also you should cover the overflow and/or grooves with GutterGaurd or eggcrate or something so it does not happen again or with another fish...
