Will a hippo tang get along with a strawberry gramma?

I believe a hippo will get along with just about anything except another hippo.

Iput a hippo tang in with one and the grama is beating him up what should i do?

How long has the gramma been in the tank before you added the hippo?? It may just be territory issues. Besides the obvious of separating if possibe, you could try to rearrange your rock/decorations to change the gramma's territory??
Mr. Salty, I heard schools of five or more hippos are ok, but you have to have the tank to support that many, and the algae too....
