hippo tangs eye

something is wong with my baby hippo tangs eye, their is like a white thing covering his eye but only a small section of the eye and it is not cloudy. It is not pop eye and he seems to swim and eat fine and all water levals are 0. Is he gonna go blind? i can maybe get a pic to show you within the next cupple of days. Thanks

yes, get the pic if you can. If the eye is not cloudy, I am guessing that it is a piece of sand, or perhaps an injury. Is this right on the eyeball or around the eye? If it around the eye, then perhaps a single parasite.
How is the fish doing otherwise? Eating, swimming ok? Keep a close watch out to see if it gets bigger or if more occurs.

Beth and TerryB, its somewhat hard to tell because he is rely shy but,i think it is a parasite because when i just looked at him i couldnt see anything on his eye. Im thinking it must of droped off. Yes he is swiming and eating fine. It didnt look like a peace of flesh, and should i worry about me tank having more of these if it was a parasite. Also the tank has live rock and i was gonna get a cleaner shrimp for the tangs so no fish only meds for the main tank. thankyou very much
