HEY EVERYONE I,M BACK WITH ANOTHER ? ABOUT MY HIPPO.CONTINUED TREATNG IN QT SEEMS CONDTN GOT WORSE.I STARTED 2 SEE HIS SPINE ON TOP.ALSO WHITE SPECKS ON TAIL.TREATED W MARACYN AGAIN AND COPPERSAFE.NOW COLOR BACK EXCEPT IN FACE.WHAT GIVES? DONT WANT 2 PUT BACK IN SHOW TANK UNTIL KINDA SURE HES OK 2 GO BACK IN BEEN TREATNG IN QT 2 ABOUT 2WEEKS CAN ANYONE GIVE ANY RUFF TIMETABLE AS 2 WHEN THIS CONDTN MIGHT GET BETTER.I REALLY FOLLOW ADVISE 2 THE LETTER YOU GUYS HAVE NOT FAILED ME YET THANKS 4 ALL YIU CAN SHARE <img src="graemlins//urrr.gif" border="0" alt="[urrr]" />

STOP SHOUTING AT US.( all caps is shouting on BB's)I'm guessing that you are treating for ICH.If so,you should continue treatment for at least three weeks..The normal life cycle of ICH is 21 days.As to when your paticular fish will be better,???????????????????????No one can really say.

This months Marine Fish and reef magazine did an article about ick and I agree with it and Beth's advise on this site.
Feed your fish medicated food with metronidazol, treated with garlic. Tjhe medication helps your fish fight the parsite and the garlic makes the fish unattachable for the parasite.
