His nose is growing! Transforming fish.

There's a 7 month difference between these sets of pictures.
Both my Unicorn tang and Orange shoulder tang have made fairly dramatic changes.
Here's an early one of the Unicorn

Here's a recent one, his nose was completely flat when I got him now it's a very obvious stub on his forehead,
and his color has deepened a bit

Recent one of Orange shoulder, He now actually has an orange shoulder and you can see the vertical separation line half way down his body.

I dig the orange shoulders. I hear they are bit on the harder side of the scale to keep though?
This one seems like a very hardy fish, he's allways nipping at the sand, rock and back of the tank.
He's also a lot fatter than you can see in the picture.
I think they're slightly more susceptible to ICH though, that might be the reason for the "hard to keep" theory.
I had a tank-wide ICH outbreak a while back that wound up killing my powder blue tang.
While every fish in my tank had ICH (Including my lion), the Orange Shoulder's outbreak was extreme.
For some reason the ICH seemed to love him and concentrated in huge clumps all over his body.
It looked like he was battered and rolled in chunky margarita salt.
Anyway, Hyposalinity treatment pulled everyone though (except Powder Blue :nope: ) and the whole time the Orange Shoulder was swiming around and eating great like nothing was going on.

Hey Eric!
I'm interested in how you were able to treat the entire tank gang and not lose inverts? Do you have a huge QT?
So glad that you pulled most of them thru!!
BTW - great shots, nice job!
