OK i dont know if i should have posted it in teh hitch hiker section, because its really more of a ZOo question. OK i have this work, that looks like a mini bristle worm but their are a few of them, but i never fully saw them so i dont know if its actually a mini bristle star. ITs striped white and red. ( i tried to take a pictur, but unfotnely my camera is so bad, its impossible to make it out.) But any ideas will help. He hasnt left the Zoo;s so idk if there is a type of worm that lives in zoos or what not. I will try to get a pick, but i tried for like 2 hours hahaha and couldnt get a good one so im going to have to get my buddies camera.
I did a freshwater dip and a bunch at least 10 astrian stars fell off of it, im guessing those are the type that eat Zoos?
The last thing is i have new feather dusters growing inbetween my clustes, are they alright or is that sighn of something?
Im sorry if this should have been in hitch hikers, buts its really more of a problem with my Zoo's. Any information will be helpful. thanks

I find the worms you descibed on colonies living in the rock. They have never seemed to bother the zoanthids any. THere are a few bristle worm species from what I have read that do eat and or otherwise bother corals but they usually do not find their way into the reef keepers aquarium.
As far as the snails, my understanding is that only the sundials are problematic toward zoanthids.
Brittlestars may be an irritant but don't think they pose a danger.
Were your zoanthids not opening? In my opinion it is best to dip all newly arriving zoanthids even if they have looked healthy and happy in the LRS or if coming froma reputable aquaculturalist. Better safe than sorry.
THe fan worms/featherdusters will not pose any harm either. Unlikely you will kill them with a dip. They will retreat into their hole/tube and seal it shut keeping any dip from entering.

ahhaha you described if perfectly. The Feather dusters closed up and still survived, and the worms dont seem to be causing any harm just once in a while it will hit a head of one of the zoos and it will close up. Yea its in a large colony of the zoos i will take a pic of the colony. Sorry my camera is horrible, also do you know what kind of zoo's these are, then again it might be really hard to see with this camera hahah
