Anyone know what this is......looks like an anenome of some sort.

Aiptasia can vary in its appearence - and you have it once again.

I can't recall the name of this guy, but it is not bad, will not eat fish, and will not sting. They come in LR and are filter feeders, pulling in whatever they can. I've got quite a few of them and have never had any issues.

Definitely not Aiptasia.........
It ended up being a hidden cup coral.
Safe for the aquarium and a sloooooooow grower.
Thanks for all the input folks.
I shall leave it alone.

A cup coral? Turbinaria species?
I've got to see another, but clearer photo before I'll buy that. I'd still be getting out the Joe's Juice!

"hidden cup" "Phyllangia americana" its a non photosynthetic LPS. I have had one for many years and its now grown into 4 after a VERY long time. let me dig up a couple pictures
