Hitchhiker Motherload?

I recently added a bit of live rock in one of my frag tanks and this evening I was doing a little maintenance and "redecorating" when I noticed some tiny little serpent or brittle stars (can't tell which yet) so I put on the magnifying glasses and found that there are hundreds of them!! They are almost all white and no more than 1/4 - 3/8 of an inch tip to tip. Has this happened to anyone else?

Its a very beneficial hitchhiker that can reproduce very quickly. they dont bother a thing and are excellent clean up. if you have a sump/fuge, throw some in there!
