Hitchhiker or what?

Last night as I was looking at my new mushroom rock, I noticed a bunch of feather dusters, yellow, red, orange, and I know those are good, but then I noticed some tentacles sticking out of the rock, looks like a brittlestarfish arms, but it doesn't come out of the rock, just the tentacles, it's very small and hard to get a pic, but it's three arms and it's off white with blue bands on them, there are about three of them on this rock, anyone have an idea on what it is, i checked the hitchhiker thread and found nothing

it sounds like a brittle, I have some like that they don't come out just stick there arms out to catch food

Sounds like some kind of mini-brittle to me also.

wow that's cool, will they ever come out, there is about three of them in the rock

some times they will come out but most likely he will just go into your substrate or into another rock, you don't see the brittles very often

They spend most of the time in the rocks ... you'll mostly just see the arms sticking out, but if you get lucky you can catch them out completely.

i have tons of those little things in my tank....usually i see them when the moonlights are on at night. Also they are in my fuge with in the macro.
