Hitchhiker problem

Found some feather duster looking worms on some L.R. wife thought thy were cute. Now they are over growing my tank. Some are clear & the others are brown about 2 to 3 inches at the largest. What can I add to eat or kill some of these things.

Sounds like aiptasia. Can you post pictures? If not do a search to compare a picture. If it is aiptasia peppermint shrimp eat them. You can also inject them with Joes Juice or boiling water.

They are harmless filter feeders and will in time control their own population by some "die off" and "Natural selection" I think they are quite attractive, why the need to get rid of?

Thied to take a pic it didn't come out. I will do a search and let you know. Why because it's over growing all my L.R. & now growing on the glass

They worked for me just give it time. I put 3 in my tank and it cleaned them all off of 130 lbs of live rock in a few weeks.

I've never used them or seen them in action. From what I understand they do a good job under the right conditions. I looked into them before but they seemed kind of high maintenance(They don't do good in high water flow,They have a lot of potential predators in reef tanks) and high priced. I went with the cheaper and seemingly easier solution.
