Hitchhiker?

So I just bought Caribbean LR and there is a little spiky striped brown thing on the side. I don't have a good camera but I was wondering if someone could tell me what it is.

My hermit crab poked it and it went back into the little crevasse in the rock then came back out.

It is to the right in the 1st picture and in the center in the 2nd picture. Sorry its so blurry. its a brown spiky thing with pink/white stripes but not rigid, its flowy. PLEASE HELP ME IDENTIFY!

The picture is still pretty blurry and I may be jumping to conclusions but that looks like aptasia.

It was. I blasted it with boiling water and sucked it out. Hopefully it stays gone but I bought a peppermint shrimp just in case.

I hear clicking in my tank, I think I have a pistol that has come with my live rock. It seems ok as nothing dead or smashed (worried it could be a smasher mantis)

I did the same with the aiptasia I had, injected the sucker with near boiling r/o. All gone now.
